If you’re a blogger or business owner, you already know how vital an email list is to you, but how do you get email subscribers? In today’s post, we will teach you how you can get email subscribers daily without breaking a sweat.
That’s not everything. You’ll need roughly 1,000 people on your email list to start an online course and have people buy it (obviously).
This is because, during your course launch, just 1-2 percent of the folks on your email list will convert into paying clients.
That’s why a course with fewer than 1,000 email subscribers isn’t worth the time and money it takes to create and launch.
So, how do you go about tackling the daunting chore of attracting email subscribers to join your mailing list?
Today, I’m going to show you 22 (yikes!) practical techniques to permanently boost your email list.
Here are a few reasons why this post will rock your world if you want to move to an online course model or add an online course revenue stream to your business:
- You’re a coach, consultant, or creative who’s tired of the “feast or famine” cycle and want to shift from 1:1 to 1:many.
- You’re looking forward to building a strong business foundation so you can do exciting things like webinars and online courses.
- You’ll almost certainly gain more email subscribers, allowing you to prepare and “prime” your audience for your course (in other words, create hype and excitement for it!)
- You’re a course maker who has finished developing a course but has to build an email list before launching it.
- If you use these tactics, you’ll quickly gain email subscribers (I’m talking 10-20 each day!)
Want to learn simple techniques to expand your email list on a daily basis? Let’s get started.
How to Get Started
First and foremost, if you want to build a relationship with a new audience, you must provide a significant amount of value.
One of the most effective ways to do so is to offer a highly valuable opt-in freebie that assists your audience in undergoing a transition or achieving a certain goal.
If you haven’t already done so, you can read our blog post on How To Double your Instagram Growth Organically in 2022!

How to Get Email Subscribers
Schedule Daily Post to Promote Lead Magnet
You’d think this is self-evident, but many of us fail to do so on a regular basis. As a general rule, you should devote 20% of your time to developing content and 80% of your time to advertising it.
This is because not everyone will see your promotion if you only do it once. We often presume that everyone has already seen our post, so we don’t want to bother them by advertising it again.
However, the truth is that depending on whether or not they’re checking their social media accounts, only a small percentage of people will see what you publish. That’s why you should promote your freebies and blogs several times a week to ensure that you’re reaching as many people as possible.
You’ll want to include your opt-in freebie on a landing page or as a content upgrade in a blog post once you’ve received it. A landing page is a page that promotes your opt-in offer without being distracting. An opt-in freebie (typically a generic freebie that you offer regularly) looks like this. A content upgrade, on the other hand, is a targeted opt-in freebie that follows a blog post naturally.
Here’s an example of a blog post that flows easily into a content update.
You’ll want to organize all of your opt-in freebies and content upgrades into a spreadsheet now that you’ve obtained them.
It’s a good idea to divide each post into the following sections:
You can begin scheduling your posts after you’ve completed your spreadsheet. Simply go through your list and schedule one post to a Pinterest, Facebook, or Twitter account.
Tailwind is what we use to schedule our Pinterest posts for the week. Basically, we pin up to 30 times per day and share our blog pieces and content upgrades several times per week.
Incorporate your freebie into your social media profiles.
Include your opt-in freebie in your Pinterest bio so that everybody who visits your profile will realize that you have a freebie. And if it’s something they need, they’ll grab it right away.
Include a link to your freebie on your Pinterest boards.
You should build up to 10-15 boards on Pinterest to organize your material so that your ideal customer can find it. You’ll need to write a description after you’ve created a board and given it a name like “client attraction” or “branding.” Here’s where you may also put a link to your opt-in freebie!
Use a more intelligent queue.
You can use Buffer or SmarterQueue to promote your offer on Facebook and Twitter.
Smarter Queue is one of our favorite tools for promoting our blogs and opting in for freebies on Facebook and Twitter because it’s simple to use and allows me to loop content!
Make use of Tailwind tribes.
Tailwind Tribes is one of the strategies to have your pins repinned on Pinterest. Tailwind Tribes are groups of people who are interested in your niche. This could include digital marketing, social media, client attraction, and branding, among other things.
The goal of Tailwind Tribes is to share both other people’s and your own material in order to help each other share one other’s pins and increase blog traffic.
Simply select a few Tribes and distribute your freebies and blog posts with them on a daily basis.
Here’s what you need to know to get started.
Step 1: Create a Tailwind account and browse Tailwind Tribes.
Step 2: To locate your niche, go to ‘find a tribe’ and enter keywords. This might be “branding,” “creating clients,” and so forth.
Step 3: Read the description to check if you may promote freebies by looking at the guidelines.
Step 4: Every day, share a few of your blog content and freebies with Tailwind Tribes. Select the tribe you want to publish the pin to by going to publisher >> drafts >> upload pin >> add to tribes.
Make a ‘free resources’ section. Board on Pinterest
People who come on your Pinterest profile may be eager to get your freebies right away. You may take advantage of this by creating a board for all of your freebies and content upgrades.

We recommend Kingsumo if you want to try it out. You must pay for it, but it is well worth the money.
This is why:
When individuals enter the offer, they are urged to share it with their friends, thus it has the potential to quickly become a viral giveaway.
The quality of the subscribers who join your list, not the quantity, is the key to a successful giveaway. Create a contest that is extremely tailored to your niche instead of a giveaway where people might win an iPad. You’ll be more likely to attract subscribers who will be interested in your material and courses in the future if you do it this way.
If you’re a branding consultant, for example, you might put up a branding giveaway that includes a free branding course and gift cards to places like Creative Market.

In this situation, you might want to construct three different paths on your homepage. This may include things like obtaining a client attraction guide, joining up for a free brand strategy email course, and downloading a design checklist.
